Explanation

This feature lets you filter overviews even better than the current acadon_quickfilter aka the search box you see in overviews. It is designed to be more inline with the filter function you know from BC. The filter can be used in every overview:

You can open the filter menu by clicking the blue icon next to the object that you want to filter. This is the menu that opens when you click on the filter icon next to state:

As you can see a prefilled list with all states will open and you can now select one or more states:
(to select more than one, please hold you CTRL key while selecting)

After you press the "Submit" button, the filter setting will be saved for that overview. You can see that a filter is active by looking at the filter icon. If its green then there is an active filter:

You can reset individual filters by going back into the menu and clicking "Reset" or you can reset all filters in the current overview by clicking the red icon next to the acadon_quicksearch:

Almost every object can now be filtered based on the type of the object. Here are some examples:
  • title --> free text search like the acadon_quickfilter
  • state --> list with all the states in zammad
  • customer/organisation --> same user search you use when creating tickets
  • pending till --> lets you select a date and time range
A new addition also is the ticket count that gets updated based on the selected filters:

Example

In this example there are three filters active: ticketnumber, state and priority
